Taken in 2011. Interesting collection of people waiting for traffic light downtown in St. Petersburg. A great city for people watching.
Moose are plentiful in Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Too plentiful. They forage the young spruce and destroy them. A few years ago, spruce budworm decimated the spruce in some areas. The moose retard the reforestation and create unusual savannah biomes which lead to erosion.
Amazing sunset across the Minas Basin
Large trawler drawn up on shore and likely abandoned. Charlo Cove, eastern Nova Scotia.
Back from 6300 mile roadtrip. Mostly Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Quebec. Largely backroads. Great trip. Great Microbrews. Wonderful people. Superb oysters. What else can one ask for?
A most amazing building….the first interior domes of significant size and they have lasted beyond a millennium. I have a problem with the current Turkish regime, so we won’t be returning to Turkey soon. Too bad, because i love the place.
